Sangam's awareness program on International Women's Day

On the occasion of the 112th International Women's Day, the organization has conducted a free cervical cancer test and health awareness program on Tuesday, 24th falgun, 2078. In the program presided over by Mr. Niraj Thapa, President of the organization, Niranjan Shrestha, President of Nepal Family Planning Association, Kaski was the special guest. the program organized by the Women's Empowerment Sub-Committee and with the technical assistance of Nepal Family Planning Association, Kaski, Trainer Nurse Anjana Bhandari said that every woman who becomes a mother should undergo uterine and breast health examination every year. Four of the patients were advised to go to the hospital for further examination.

Special Guest Niranjan Shrestha said that his organization is ready to cooperate with Sangam Sahakari in the days to come. Chairman of the organization Niraj Thapa wished a happy Women's Day and thanked the organization for organizing various programs for women. Nawaraj Tiwari, vice-chairman of the cooperative and head of the Kaski branch of the Nepal Family Planning Association, said that women should be more aware about reproductive health. Senior Manager of the organization Jupiter Officer, Education, Training and Information Sub-Committee Coordinator Tilak Thapa, same sub-committee member Saraswati Adhikari, program director and women empowerment sub-committee coordinator Bishnu Kumari Thapa and the same sub-committee member Shobha Kunwar spoke on the occasion.
